A- (Low A) Division

A- (Low A) is the entry point into competitive baseball within NYC METRO.

This division is intended for players with prior baseball experience, typically at the high school (JV or Varsity) level and/or adult league experience. A small percentage of players may also have limited collegiate backgrounds.

A- emphasizes structure, fundamentals, and competitive balance. Games are played at a higher pace than Expansion, with increased expectations around execution, preparation, and team organization.

This division is well-suited for players and teams seeking competitive play while continuing to develop consistency and confidence within a structured league setting.
